| The infernal traffic and
the urban pollution are an integral part of
the legendary Bangkok image. How do the citizens
of the City of Angels live with these problems,
day in, day out and yet keep their cool in
the traffic jams? |
| Vi B.: A lot of people
keep a photo of Buddha in their car or a religious
pendant around their necks. You've also got
aircon in the cars and the radio - you can
listen to cassettes. All that helps you stay
calm. 50% of people never get stressed out
in a traffic jam, the get a bit annoyed but
30% of them manage to find a way to keep their
cool. The other 20% bite their nails, chew
gum, eat sweets, make phone calls...(laughing)
